Let's face it: Stress and anxiety often extend far beyond.
You may be stressed about your health. Stressed about your relationships. Stressed about work. Stressed about food. Stressed about everything!
Your breath.
When life feels out of control, we'd wish to concentrate on what you'll control… your food, your exercise, how you speak to yourself, ... and your breath!
We have breathing exercises for you.
For Your Body: Falling Out Breath:
To start, take a deep inhale, filling your lungs with as much amount of air as possible. At the top of your breath, take another sip of air. Then, exhale, with an enormous sigh as you release the air from your lungs. The breath can release physical tension within the body.
For Your Mind: Box Breath
Inhale to the count of 4, hold your breath at the longest to the count of 4, exhale to the count of 4, and hold your breath at rock bottom to the count of 4.
The box breath could even be a helpful tool to extend your mindfulness.
For Your Spirit: Emptying Breath
Inhale to the count of three and exhale slowly to the count of 6, concentrating on releasing as much amount of air as possible.
The emptying breath is a strategy to activate your parasympathetic nervous system and calm your sympathetic nervous system
We want you to use your breath as a tool whenever you are feeling stressed.
Ready? Set. Breathe!
