Lesson 3 (Week 2): Stop depriving yourself

Some people don't like weight loss journeys, because it prohibits them to continue unhealthy eating habits that they enjoy the most. It also feels like you are depriving yourself of the simple reward of eating the food that you like.

Here are some tips to help you stop thinking that you are depriving yourself.

- Substitution

Eat your favorite meal, but the healthier way. For example, if you love pasta, you can replace it with zucchini. You can turn your favorite food into a healthier one with the help of your creativity,

- Try something new

Instead of having the same old foods, you can try new recipes, new (healthy) restaurants, and new items for your pantry while still sticking to the calorie budget.

- Reward system

Eat something you truly like, but still keeping in mind your calorie budget. 

Weight loss is not boring, it just needs the power of creativity and believing that you can do it for good.
